im doing the 460 into the 79f250 swap and want to keep my 4speed what flywheels can i use other than the l&l ive been told some others will fit in the 351m bell with some grinding but im unsure would just like some input on what you guys are using the engine is between 73 and 78

 

If I'm not mistaken, the bellhousings are the same for the M series and the 385 series. They are on an automatic.

 

Fe 360 or 390 flywheels will work I you do a search on this subject you should get a hit because it has been brought up many times Eric

 

thanks merc i was told the 390 would but the engine would need to be balanced which i didnt think would be right im gonna do a search now i think it should just be a bolt in deal

 

The balance for the earlier 460 is the same as the 390 but the later 460 79 and up are balanced diferently Eric
