hey all, i was wondering bolt pattern or size is on a 99 f-250 4x4. i thought 8 bolt rims where all the same size, but that was dumb of me. i want some black rims for my truck instead of these aluminum factory things that are pitting like crazy. i guess thats what ohio does to wheels... also would a 1979 f-250s bolt pattern be the same as my 99'?
p.s any good online sites have rims at a decent price? thanks ryan

For a good look at specials from on-line, grab a 4wheel drive magazine at your local store, they have adds all throughout them and give pictures as well.
'78 - I have a set of 4 Eagle Alloys (looks like the factory pattern) that I took off of my '00 about 3 years ago. They've been sitting in the basement ever since. They've never seen a salted road so they're in decent shape (I bought new rims before I moved to PA). They're 16.5x9.75, pm me if you're interested.
You're not too far from me either, I'm just east of Pittsburgh.
Be aware that while 99 yo present SD wheel bolt patterns are the same, the offset was changed in 05 with the introduction of the coil sprung front axle. Using these later model wheels on an early 99-04 SD / excursion will casue the tires to rub the front springs (4x4 models). Larger tires make the problem worse.
When you purchase new wheels, just make sure you get the dimensions correct, otherwise we will be reading a new post about your wheels rubbing the leafs springs when you turn.
