Hey guys, I got this '89 F150, with a 300 6 cyl in it. When I got it, the trans was stuck, well I got that problem fixed, but on the next ones. While driving it the other day, it just acted like it was running out of gas? When I got it home "finally" I tested the fuel pressure. It started out with around 48 PSI, and then started to miss, and dropped down to 25PSI. After talking to some of the parts guys, they said it needed the front fuel pump, the high PSI one. So I replaced that one, and the fuel filter. It still ran poorley. SO I called the guy I got it from, and he said he'd forgotten to tell me that the front tank don't work!!!
Anyway, it runs fine on the rear tank now, it didn't before I put the new high PSI pump on it. My question is, do you think that the front tank just needs the low PSI pump replaced in it? Has any of you guys had this problem?
