What should I be checking with the multi meter? or Should I not worry about it.
Any way to run the truck with a real voltmeter and see what they are doing? I know all my truck has is a dummy battery light. So I have one of these http://www.xantrex.com/web/id/97/p/1/pt/1/product.asp but i dont measure current on the front batteries. I have two 100 ah batteries in the bed and watch their current and voltage from the link 20, and the front batteries voltage with it. But you can do it with any volt meter.
