Our first meeting of 2008 was held at Benny's Junction Seafood & Steakhouse in Harrington, DE at 4:00pm.
The meet was hosted by Steve, Stv1968.
After a few opening remarks by CL Barry, Savage2211, and introductions of guests Dustin, Tractor Boy (MD CL), Bud, (BPofMD) Asst. CL of MD, and ??????, friend of Tractor Boy, the group somewhat settled down to a not so peaceful meal.
Just kiddin Tractor Boy. lmao
Members attending were Steve and his wife Teresa, George and his wife Helen, Barry, Lew, Brenda and Keving. The hot crab dip seemed to be a favorite food for everyone. The food, as usual was great, and the service was exceptional.
Plans were discussed for the 2008 season. Big topic was the MidAtlantic Ford Trucks meet at the Carlisle All Truck Nationals in August. Barry discussed some of the tentative plans for chapter meets for 2008, details to come.
Barry announced that we had a new member join today. This makes the 13th consecutive month of having a new member join the chapter. Good job Barry!
A total of 11 members and guests attended this meet. FYI, this number tripled our first meet in January 2007.
We traded suggestions with Tractor Boy on how to establish and maintain an active chapter. Tractor Boy invited the chapter to the MD meet in February. See post in the MD chapter for the details and to sign up.
Brenda updated us on the next February meet of MASMF which will be held at UNO Pizza in Dover. See MASMF for the details and TO JOIN the Mid Atlantic Stangs and Muscle Fords Club. Click on the link in my signature.
After dinner, the group took the meeting outside so we could ouuuuuu and ahhhhhhh over each others ride. Good luck Bud on fightin the squirrel invasion in the engine compartment of your super duty.
