O.K., time for stupid question number 2... or is it 3? Tonight, on a road I normally travel at a higher speed, I was going downhill with the cruise locked on 54 MPH. Because of the hill, the truck started to pick up speed. Then, the tranny downshifted and, obviously, the rpm's went up.
I take it the tranny's supposed to do this for engine braking? I never had a truck this nice before. [Kinda makes me feel like I'm back in my Caddy when the truck does everything for me!] I just wanted to make sure it's supposed to do this.
