I just got my truck back from the shop(99 4x4 w/ESOF). A couple weeks ago, I had a hub bearing replaced, and the other one checked. I returned the truck when I couldn't get the hubs unlocked. The shop said the hubs were manually locked. Here's the problem - I'm positive when it went in to the shop, "auto" was clockwise, and "locked" counter clockwise. Since the new hub bearing, it is now the opposite. What happened? Am I crazy? The stickers that show the direction are long gone. Which way is it supposed to be?
That link (like my owners manual) shows locked CCW and auto clockwise. My truck is now the opposite. No big deal, just a little confused, and wondering how this is possible.

uhmm...not what I see. What I see is what redford posted as correct. CW is 'LOCK' position. CCW is 'AUTO' position.
The pic diagram of the hub shows in the 'AUTO' position, so to engage the hub...it must be rotated CW to the 'LOCK' position. Keep in mind...the 'LOCK' and 'AUTO' with little arrow is what moves. The little "dot" does not move.
