Help Please

Okay, Have an 06, 6.0L with an oil leak (# 3 actually). At any rate this time they said the oil pan gasket was leaking & they had to pull the motor. Okay sound fair, but need a time frame of 2 weeks. Okay whatever.....

My question is does anyone know what the warranty time allowed for such a repair is. I am into my 3rd week & tired of the lame excuses.........

Thanks

It should not take that long. Sounds like they need to hire a good diesel tech. If they have not started the work on your truck, pull it out of there and find another dealer that has certified ford diesel techs fast.

They have started on it. I think they work on it a bit, then work on sonething else as it comes in. I believe they only have one diesel tech, they are a small dealership. I am trying to get a time line allowed by Ford for time alloted for the warranty work so that when I go up there tomorrow I have some solid information.

Thanks

I took my truck in Monday for a bed plate leak and I am supposed to have it back late today or tomorrow which will be Thursday.
