Ford only offered the following over the parts counter:
B9AZ-9A761-A .. Thermostatic Choke Tube KIT ~ Fits all engines.
The kit consisted of: a copper tube 16.20" long / insulator 14.30" long / misc mounting hardware = nuts, ferrules, etc.
These are prolly available from NAPA. Ford used this kit from the 1950's thru the 1970's.
EDIT: I found this: C4AZ-9820-D .. Choke tube ~ Fits: 1960/65 Ford-Bird-PC / 13.53" long / 1/4" O.D. steel tube.
Parts catalog sez: If not listed, use 9A761 kit.

K thanks Bill, And gas
For 68 here in Arizona the car is emissions tested and requires all factory crap to be in place for visual inspection.
The tube is there but cracked at the entry to the manifold.
I have access to a hydraulic swage to make the dimple but thought a ford service part may have been avalible. These are one of the first things to fail back east too with corrosion and heat. Not one of the best ideas.

I had my 68 emissions tested a few months ago and they didn't open the hood or check anything but the exhaust coming out of the tail pipe. I'm from az as well

Make your own out of a piece of 1/4" copper or SS. It uses a std compression fitting at the choke and the other end is just pushed down into the manifold hole. Been years since I even messed with one of them. If there just looking it will be there. If the as why copper, tell them it want burn out like steel.
