Anyone from Philly?
I have a handicapped equipped dodge minivan which is used primarially to transport my elderly parents who for the most part are wheelchair bound. I have fought and lost tickets where i have double parked in front of their house just so i can load and unload them from the van and set them in their front yard so i can go park the van and not have to push the wheelchair uphill.. i have a bad back and knees and it is an effort to do that sometimes.. the ticket is $105
another time my wife had to use the bathroom and i pulled over to let her out of the van so she could go to the bathroom at a construction zone which was crammed full of "Official NYC Vehicles" and a meter maid ran up to me and gave me a ticket for letting her out there... my intention was to let her out and circle the block until she was ready to get back in the truck but being i bought the spot i stayed there.
Every year we have six or seven metermaids who are beaten senseless for their antics and every time they do i have all i can do not to visit their hos[pital rooms and throw salt on their wounds
If you dont pay your tickets on time , they also impound your car and that ruins into the hundreds of dollars to get it back.. and those people are even worse to deal with
i figure tho if you work for the city or state you have to have an IQ of six or less anyway which explains why these animals do what they do
