Was curious if anyone could recommend a decent saddle blanket seat cover for these trucks? I bought one of those cheap Autozone ones, but I don't like it. It's one of those "one size fits all" types and doesn't really fit. Plus it was made to work on seats both with and without headrests, and since my bench seat doesn't have headrests, these floppy things lie on the seat and look ugly. Where did you all get yours? I noticed LMC has ones that look good in the picture but of course it is LMC and those could have been on any seat. Perhaps from the site sponsors? Where did you all get yours? I've seen some nice ones in people's gallery's and I know they're out there.
I bought some fabric via Wal-Mart. Measure your bottom seat portion, include the sides in your measurement x 2. That's how long of fabric I bought. I bought a fabric color on those spools? that was orange and black color to match the interrior of my truck. The height of the fabric on the spool was perfect. but measure it also incase. Buy some elastics to sew around the ends of your two halfs. My cat lady neighbor keeps herself occupied by sewing and stitching. She sewed it, along with some nice cushions with the left-overs. Also made my headliner using an old unstained white bed sheet.
Those headrests you can tuck into the back of the seat cover. Just push it in on itself thru the top and back, it wont make it look pretty, but it will make the bad case of the floppies go away. As far as something that fits, I dunno. I have not bought a seat cover in years. All mine are thrashed, but luckily the seats are not so bad that if I sit on them the wrong way, I cant have kids.
