I do custom airbrush work on bikes. I have often thought about buying a van like this, and taking it to the rallys . Everyone tells me I could make a fortune selling to the RUBS at the big rallys. I kind of specialise in artwork on bike parts ,not just the tank and fenders. This little van would be cool to work out of. Everybody can go buy a new van . But you pull up to a rally in a vintage ride like this, and you will get some attention.
fella over on osr is thinking about buying a 56 ford / grumman in ohio .i told him if it was me id paint it black put bars in the windows , put in a wall twixt me and the back , and do the back up like a padded looney cell , then use it to haul the grandkids around .
hard to tell with stepvans,
i have seen a few @ wreckin yards that have that have a chev-esque grille like the one in that pic but they have ford chassis & drivelines, clusters, columns & steeering wheels in em, then i have also seen ones with ford-esque grilles and they have had chev chassis & columns clusters & engines in em' intrnational's "metro" vans have a totally different look to em' (usually stunning and very for lack of a better term "art deco-ish") would love to rod one someday. as for divcos i have seen again totally different , no gm or ford resemblance. seen a few of different makes rodded......
bottom line........stepvans make sweet rods.

Hard to say which make that is--would make a great truck for shows-work out of it or suspend some prison bunks from one side and crash when the show got slow.Heck, sell hot dogs out the back door....
