1979 F100 Custom In Sacramento
hello every one my name is earl i have a 1979 ford f100 custom short bed i just put a 1988 5.0L H.O. motor in my truck. upgraded to serpenttine belt runs good the rear is lowered 2" still need to lower the front but it sits pretty level now is there any other guys from sacramento area around. if so hit me up at bigearl1369@comcast.net

the truck has yet to pass smog but that is due to being out og money will keep you posted on that though im running my old carb and inake plus the dist. off my old 302 plus all the smog stuff off the old motor as well except the air bpv is from the H.O. motor its a different configuration then the one from 1979 other then that the Ford tech i know in san diego say it should pass no problem. the only other difference is the firing order on the H.O. motor it's 1-3-7-2-6-5-4-8 the same as the 351c.i.d.1-5-4-2-6-3-7-8 like the non H.O. 302c.i.d. 5.0
