LED Tailight Inserts

Has anyone tried changing out their F-150 tailights with LED kits either Hella brand or Recon brand fixtures? I was wondering which one is more effective and brighter?

we sell the hella brand alot, everyone i talk to loves them. Im pretty sure I have the lowest price for the hella's. Dont forget about the black out head lights and the replacement grill.

I have the Hella LED Tail light kit on my 04. It's a very nice unit. Installation took less than 20 minutes.

Ive been looking at these: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&_trkparms=tab%3DWatching&vi ewitem=&item=140198814472&_trksid=p3907.m32 . They are the red/smoke but they also have red/clear. Thye look a lot like the Hellas but at half the cost.

Yeah i just bought bulbs for 30bucks and they are really bright now I dont have pics but they certainly look better not then before.

I love ebay, but there are some pretty crappy and useless parts on their that people are con-ed into buying. I just bought some of the blue headlights

They are a nice blue color that I wanted but they are not very bright.

I just like the Hella Lights because they were made for your trucks. The ones off ebay might be good, but I mean these hella lights were going to be used on the HD. I have LED bulbs in my car and i love em, i got ones with like 36 LED's per bulb and there great, but if hella made STi LED taillights I would get em.

I bought the Hellas from him for my son's '05. He and his friend put them on and he loves them. Can't beat the quality or the price anywhere, not even "fleabay".

I've had the Hella's on my truck for awhile now and they look great. Very fast reaction time and also very bright.

I was going to replace my tailights for leds on my f250. I went to autozone and bought 2 led bulbs for $16 and put them in my tailights and they are nice!
