Man it would have been smart a few years ago to get into cattle when the prices were rock bottom. A guy could have made a killing then. If only one knew...

I started back on the 56 M100 but lately I`ve been fixing some plumbing in one of my rental houses.
It`s not alot of fun and everything is fairly new to me so it`s definitely a learning curve....
If you ever had time on your hands Sherm I could keep you busy for month doing renos....Wonder how often have you heard that......

I`d prefer you but since that`s not likely possible it would be great if you can pm me your BIL`s phone number. I really need someone to call on when things come up around here.
A friend of mine is a great finishing carpenter but he`s semi retired and moved to Elbow.

thanks for the vote of confidence Boss. if anything isn't urgent i could maybe help, but not in the near forseeable future. you have mail, he's a decent kid, and i've recently convinced him to buy a Ford!! like i said, i won't vouch for his work ethic or quality.

There are too many ups and downs with livestock prices, lately it`s been way too many downs to be profitable.

Lots of things in life are a gamble!! I think now if I would have known how much the house prices would have shot since we bought ours 2 1/2 years ago I would have bought two at that time and sold one now.

Yeah no kidding. I remember looking at a few houses in stoon just before I moved to BC, and man oh man I wish i would have bought one. I could have made over a hundred grand off of the one I was looking at. I did pretty good with my land but I dont wanna sell it now!
