I would like to replace the stock radio in my wife's 98 Expedition with a factory Ford radio with a CD player. Does anyone know what year will fit in without any problems or should I just get a aftermarket radio?

If you have the AM/FM cassette premium sound system already it would be possible to add the console mounted cd changer as mine was added at the dealer. I would think that if you found a factory radio with a cd from the same year it would plug right in. I am not sure about other years as Ford likes to change color codes on the wiring pretty regularly. Maybe someone else has more info on this.
