Look in my gallery at pic #24(I think), Now the brass plug on the spider pipe is where my boost guage is currently drawing from. Before I made the AIH delete fitting, I had a T in the map line (rubber hose that comes from bottom of spider pipe to the map sensor)
Brandon, He says he installed the boost gauge and it is not working. I know when I installed mine and cranked the truck it didn't work, I pushed the pedal down and still no boost. I told my brother that was helping me that we will deal with this later and took the truck for a drive. The boost gauge started reading boost. So I was wondering if this is the same issue I had.

DOH!! I didnt read enough. Might want to loosen the fittings that go form the T to the guage(it is really easy to crush the small boost hose with the compression fittings)
the dial to the left is my OBA..it sits right on top of the map sensor..if you fallow the red lines on my truck..(yours will be black) you can see where the map line goes..also you can see how my boost gauge is hooked up in this pic.
you can not make any boost with truck parked..you need to have a load on the truck...

miller_feed, I did the same thing, I freeked out thinking I screwed up, especially when I hit the throttle and nothing happened.
Then the tranny gauge had me concerned, till I took a long drive.

Yeah, Dave, I was so pissed that it didn't work. Heck, no one ever said it will only make boost under load. But I was so happy to see boost during the ride.
I guess ya get this preconceived notion on how things will work, then there's reallity
I figured, hit the gas, turbo spins, makes boost, apparently not! But there's nothing like that feeling of spending all day doing something, in the cold, get finished and think it doesn't work. The only thing better than that is when you go for a drive and the needle jumps!
