2008 Badges

Anyone going this direction with replacing your badges? I just got the 08 heated mirrors which look sweet so was thinking about putting 08 custome badges on as well.

I don't know of anyone that has them, but i've seen them for sale on DFuser. They would look good for sure, and it seems like you would be one of the few that would have them.

How difficult was it to replace the mirrors? Are they heated and powered?

I have powered but no heat now.

I have been thinking of doing the same thing as you. The guys on the '08 board are giving them great reviews. Much better visability from the new ones.

Yeah, I love them. I have more visibility towing. I did the install but didn't run the extra wiring took it to an audio shop and they did the grunt work on wiring. It's well worth the extra money and makes the truck look better in my opinion.

I thought the 08 fenders had provisions for the emblems to work?

http://billetbadges.com/products.htm.

No drilling or custom changes have to occur.

I'm sure they are nice, but they look generic to me.
