drop axle
I was thinking about going with a drop axle instead of lower springs for the front of my 55. For those who have installed a drop axle who has the best for the $$ and what other problems I may be facing i.e., tie rodextenders, ride, steering, etc. Are there any tech articles out there anywhere?

I posted the same question last week and it appears that Mor-Drop was the popular choice. I called Mor-Drop and he said that the 3 inch axle drop would be $300 for my 49 F1 plus the shipping of my axle to him and back.
However, I also would like to have somebody post detailed information learned from going through this process.
