You know those famous aluminum trim pieces for the tailgate? No, I don't need the plastic clips (have those already, and a part number if anyone else needs it), I need one of the little metal studs with the nut that goes in each corner of that panel. If you've got a spare around please let me know, I'd gladly pay the shipping.
EDIT: Whoops sorry. For some reason I thought you said you needed the rounded nuts. So uh, I don't think part 8 is what you're looking for but perhaps its on that page. You might also check www.npdlink.com

I think he is talking about the little bolt or stud that the acorn style nut goes on. There are 2 and each side of the tailgate on the edges. They would be by the tail light when the gate is closed. I was thinking that LMC or NPD might have something, but it looks like they don't.
TexasGuy has it nailed. And unfortunately, I don't think there's a wrecking yard within 200 miles of here. I figure someone on here must have one floating around from a trashed panel they'd be willing to donate...
I just got rid of all the trashed ones I had . I never had trouble with studs. I keep the clips . Look like I'll have to save the studs to. I'll look but dont hold breath
