Never Dull has very small flakes of aluminum in it.I have polished hundreds of wheels on big trucks, and have had the best luck with two products -Magic Mix and Zepher 40.Both are awesome on aluminum, stainless ,and chrome.
To get those scratches out take a power buffer with the heavy wool pad and either of these products or mothers and they will buff out.You can also get the green bar of ruoge at most truckstops to polish chrome n stainless.

I jsut wanted to update. I emailed Eagle One/Valvoline about my problem and they told me to give them a call. So I called them and spoke with one of their people. Told him my problem and he had no problem getting a claims fourm sent out to me. Along with the claims fourm he sent prepaid stamp to send back the never dull. He told me to take pictures of the problem and mail it all back to them and their insurance would take care of it from there.

It sounded to me as if this wasnt the first time they have had someone complain about the never dull. Ill update more as this progresses.

that's very interesting. like others, i have used never dull (or "brasso") on the pipes on my chopper for a few years now. even for hard scrubbing to get my wife's melted shoe sole off the chrome. keep us posted on what happens.

Final up date

I called Eagle One/Valvoline today to check up on my case and the guy put me on hold.... came back and said that the check sound be here in about two weeks. So if any of yall have had any problems i could deff contack them, they never questioned me at all. All i had to do is take pics of the damage and get a written estimate. Good stuff.

i have been wanting to do this for a long time... i think it is bull**** that people do this to these big companies... first thing they are trying to help you by making a product... and here some people go out use it and if it does very little damage not even noticeable... they think they have to make that company pay for their ****-up... to tell you the truth i have used neverdull and personally i like it... it works good and from what i seen there was no scatches... and i used it on aluminum... so i mean it just does not make since that ppl want to do this... and maybe i am just rambling on and on cuz my family buisiness has been sued and everything over the years for very small damage... like scratches on a car that does not run and so on...

I understand conpeletly where your coming from, but when you pay 500 for somethen and then use a product that states that it is to be used on chrome and then it leaves visable swirl marks all over the place, i get pissed. and the fact they didnt question me a single time about anything just makes me wonder...... they didnt try to deffend their product at all........

Man That stinks!! I'd say use this stuff, called Noxon 7. Available at hardware stores and such. Use it on aluminum, chrome, stainless, everything!

When I was driving over the road I found a good polish made by Long Haul. Took the wheels on company truck (never before polished besides factory) truck was 2 years old when I got in it. Shined them right up you could see yourself. Stuff works great, just havent seen any of it in a while.

If you have never used it or seen it its kinda like a wading material u scrub the metal with and then wipe clean. well after doing the whole stack and wiping it clean, you could see my nice scubing marks...... Scratched up my whole stack. So i just figgured i would put out a public notice that dont use this stuff on metal u dont want scratched up.

just an fyi. Never dull didn’t scratch your stacks it revealed them. This stuff is used throughout the military on all kinds of bright works. IE….. chrome stainless brass bronze aluminum and whatever else that’s capable of shining. It will ruin everything but metal. You didn’t put enough effort into shining it. Use a dime size tear off of the cotton material it is saturated in the polishing solution when that piece has turned black from use change it out. If I were to do stacks I wouldn’t even inspect it until the 5th time I had shined them. It doesn’t take that long if you’re not easily distracted. Once the scratches are out with never dull they stay out.

Yeah, it seems like high exhaust isn’t as popular now as it was back then.
