Hi folks,
I have a 07 F150 4x4, 5.4 litre, and I am planning on doing most of the maintenance on this vehicle myself. I was wondering what the best service manual would be? Haynes?..Fords?..ect? I hope I wont have to do anything other than regular servicing for some time, but I am planning on keeping the truck for a long time. So I would like something that does go quite deep into the maintenace of the engine or gearboxes for example, so I have the info should I ever need it.
Thanks
KVFRider
I suspect the 07 manual is slightly differnet that the 05, so I would not recommend just getting a copy of a different year and expectign it to be correct.
Go with the Ford Manual. It will cost more, but it's the same one used by the service department, so you know it is specific to your vehicle and doesn't contain a bunch of generic info that doesn't apply.
just like golflug said go on ebay and get the ford service information dvd's I picked up the 2001 to present dvd's including the service labor time standards dvd for 45 dollers. what happens is they get updated at the dealers every few months and some sell them on ebay here is a link to one of them .http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/07-08...spagenameZWDVW
See my post above. You can get genuine ford sevice dvd's on ebat for short money. and if you get say a 2007-2008 dvd it will cover all models made in these years.
