Quick few ?s on possible purchase.

looking at a supercab F150 on ebay. Just found it last night and it ends today. Now I have owned quite a few older fords but have been out of it for awhile and I have never owned a 150, so this leaves me with a few questions. Did the supercab 150's have front leaf springs? I thought that only the sc's had these but not sure. I so what axles will be under it? still a 44 and 9" out back. There is no vin listed on the website and no answer ot the phone. So I have no idea what motor is in it. Thanks Jason

A super cab 4wd truck will have a leaf spring front suspension and a 5 lug D44. The frame is actually the exact same as a F250/350. 9 chances out of 10 its got 3.50 gears and open front and rear diffs.

The possible factory motors are 300-6 351M and 400 but its hard to say what 30 years of shadetree mechanics have done. Post the ebay number and maybe I can see something to tell you what motor it is.

Yeah thats the only one I found ending today.

Nice looking truck. Its either a 351m or 400 engine

I cant see the crank in these pic so its hard to say for sure.
