Hey guys, since there has been so much talk about frame swaps, I got my buddy to post all the pics he has of the progress thus far. They aint in any particular order, so look and enjoy!! The body is not welded to the chassis yet, so in some of the pics the body is shifted and the wheels arent centered in the wheel openings. Also, the heighth has changed through this process too.
We're just now getting it all centered and everything ready to weld. We've overcome some major obstacles. There are a few minor ones left, but they are minor. If we had to do it again, we could do it alot faster, cause of what we've learned. It is a very practical swap, just very time consuming and labor intense.
Yep, projects in waiting! I also have a '53 Ford 2door sedan car to work on. The '61 Unibody is running, and needs painting, and the 56 is just for parts?
