stiff steering

stiff steering
I have a problem with my steering when i hold my foot on the brake it won't let turn the wheel. When let my foot off it will but a little stiff. anyone have any ideas or has had the same problem?

Hmmm possibly the gearbox might be getting hungup internally. Otherwords have somebody turn the wheel back and forth while pressing on the brakes while you are looking at the tie-rods, drag links and steering knuckles.
