I posted about a month ago about water leaking from my tailpipe.I started tearing down the motor and the problem appears to be on the drivers side. Warped head and a cracked piston and block damage not worth rebuilding. I found 2 351m blocks and 1 302 f.i. that can be converted to carb. but I don't know about motor mounts or if will bolt up to my tranny. 1978 f150 351m not sure of tranny type.
The cooling system does not need any modifications. If you have a tiny radiator, then yes a bigger one would be nice, but not necessary.
When I did my swap, I bought mounts, put the motor in, and enjoyed twice the power, and the same fuel economy. A 2WD has factory parts available for it, buy the towers/mounts out of the donor truck, they should sell them fairly cheap.
