460 in a E350

460 in a E350
Looking at a '91 E350 with the 7.5L in it. Has about 150500 miles.
How good of an engine is this, in the Econoline considering tight fit and breathing room.
Anything to watch out for with this motor? Any mods for fuel economy? I won't be towing, for now.
I searched the forums for E350 with 460 to try to get some info, so please forgive me if this has been brought up already.

All the older Vans had 460 engines in them you have the same body style. The heads on the newer 460 truck and van engines are the weak link. Ford did sell a performance package for these vehicles. Keep looking for a van on ebay you will find one. All emergancy vans had 460's in them until Ford went with the V10.
