Axle / Spindle ?
Rain storm. Driving spun out into a curb. Broke wheel completely off axle.
Someone mentioned getting a new spindle ?
Do I need a new axle ?
I will have pictures up this weekend....

Can be a few things, but if you hit it that hard to break a wheel you might want to search out a new axle incase you bent the axle housing. You either snapped off the wheel studs or snapped the axle itself. The shaft can be replaced without too much effort but unless you are complete sure you didn't take out the housing it might be a better investment to swap it all.

I agree you ned to make sure the housing is not bent if it is it will not go down the road right. Been here done that they will jump all over the place if the housing is bent. And you will not be able to hold bearings or seal in it. If there is an doubt swap the whole rear. They are not that hard to find or expensive.
