I am getting a 86 F150 ext cab tomrrow for a few parts (nice lariat bench seat and other misc my f250 needs for the cab interior) .


My question is how much does a F150 ext cab weigh without engine and transmission? It has a title but a rusted/twisted frame and I was going to sell it for scrap metal.

My best guess is 3,000lbs but anybody else have any idea?

 

Ok, this doesn't really help ALL that much... but I"ll tell you what I know.

My truck after unloading a vehicle at the crusher with me (230lbs) and my dad (210lbs) and a dolly (lightweight) with under a quarter tank of gas weighed 5600 lbs. It's my truck in my sig. I also had a small (190) piece Craftsman toolbox (40 lbs??) in the truck I keep with me, and a 4-way lug wrench and jumper cables (amount to nothing).
