Daytona practice......

The teams seem to be having problems getting the crappy car of today to handle. It looks kinda weird seeing cars, all of which have the same shape, racing each other. It's hard to tell a Ford from any other brand. Sucks. As of right now, Kyle Bush is kicking *** in a Toyota. Sucks. jd

It seems that a car can be fast in a crowd but slow running alone. It will take some time, but the cream will rise to the top.

It will be the same ( which make is which ) as the older cars once all the stickers and decals are on the cars.

I can't believe how squirelly the cars are. You can see how the drivers have to manhandle them around the track.

Could be interesting in a pack of 43 cars....

Many of the cars in practice are badged, and they still look the same. Like IRL, and CART, different badges, but they are the same in appearance.

These cars draft differently. It seems if you are in the lead, and get passed by a string of cars, you can't pick up the draft of the other cars as you fall back in line.

Jimmie Johnson told Knaus that his car was loose going down the straights. Knaus said he couldn't do anything about that, joking of course.

But, as of right now, many of the drivers aren't happy. jd

Depending on how well a pack of cars can catch another pack, could be a very boring race. The cars will be all strung out. Or there could be a ton of blocking go on which would make for some interesting racing.....

I can't see how he could do anything about it. It's hard to gauge how much to tighten a car up when it's not going thru a corner. Could have been a windy day...

From all accounts no. If there is enough whinning by the right people, I can see a new surface much like a Dega very soon in Daytona's future.

It's daytona,of course it's going to be a boring race. 43 cars running around in a big pack, waiting for the big wreck and hoping they aren't in it. exciting? I think not.
