O.K. guys, I'm thinking of switching to electric fans on my 03 Expy w/ the 4.6. What tech and spec data do I need to know about electric fans in order to do this mod?
The size of the fans, the number of blades, straight blades or "S" blades, the amount of CFM from the fan, pull or push type fan, what is a radiator push pin prob & a thread in probe, set thermostat or adjusable thermostat, are just a few of the questions that I have. Any info on this topic would be greatly appreciated.

Looks like a lot of work. I just wonder if you would need to upgrade your alternator to help with the extra load(?)
