The guy at the Ford dealer parts desk said his parts system did not show a gasket for that location!? My Felpro gasket kit does not seem to have that gasket either.
See if someone at the parts store will let you rob one from a oil pump. You might have to make one, I have in the past. If I had one I'd mail it to you.
Lots of engines no not use a gasket between the pump and block. The surface is just machined flat which is good enough. If there is some leakage, who cares? It just goes back to the pan. That being said, I see no problems if you want to use a gasket too.

I'd sure use one. You're talking about sealing the path your pump pickup uses to draw oil from the sump, and any leaks will reduce the efficiency of your pump. Take a straw, poke a pinhole in it and try sucking liquid through it.
If your parts people can't supply one, have them pull a pump for your application off the shelf, use that gasket to draw a template, buy a stock sheet of gasket material and make one using an Exacto knife. They should give you the gasket as it should have been included in your rebuild gasket kit.
