it is harder to see, thats why i want to see it outside, but that black stripe down the side of the truck along that body line, thats what i just did...it was one of the things on my project list if you look at my old photochop of my truck

and you used 4" coils and the stock 90s coil buckets? ... i think i have to remeasure after my SAS cause EVERYONE but me who lifted + SASd with 4" coils claim at least 5" over stock, why i measure only 4" over stock i do not know?...all i need to do is weld up my trac bar bracket and get some new shock bolts

p.s....i HATE those tires...what are those 33's? my 31's are MAYBE 29 inches tall!? and in the mud i might as well be using drag slicks...thats what the 34.5" ground hawgs are for

it was something i always wanted to do, never could afford to do it. i had a Rancho and Skyjacker 4" kit for it but after i added up what i needed to replace and buy extra it was just about the amount it cost me to SAS it...now ill never have to worry about the TTB again. do it once and do it right, this truck seen enough wheelin back in the day...if only it could talk.

i see...thats the reason i SASd my truck BEFORE the inspection was the TTB was broken down and i needed to throw money at it to pass inspection any way, might as well replace the whole thing

here is a pic of my new tires i got from someone on craigs list for 300$ 31x10.5 bfg at. i had brigstone dueller at's that werent even stock they were p235/70r15. i was as tall as the top of the truck.

here i thought i would do something different than the light bars on the tailgate.
the three middle lights come on when i have parking lights on and the two outside are brakes and turn lights

Cool truck, looks much better with the new tires and the brush guard and the whips. Speaking of whips, are both of them used for the CB, or just the left one with the right one only serving good-looks purpose?

just a tip for those about to set up a cb...use dual antennas 100X better than single ... trust me, the old international 9900ix big rig my dad drove was set up with 1 cb antenna and the other was radio because international is stupid, the peterbilts are setup with 2 cb antennas and one radio and the same cb will get WAY better reception, much clearer at double the distance and it looks better when both are functional

great looking truck there man...i havent seen too many extended cabs with the 300 and a 5 speed, that i know of, usually 302 v8 and auto

Well, yes and no - on a big truck the distance between the antennas is much larger than the distance between the antennas mounted in the corners of the bed, the more distance you have between them the easier it is to make them work, and you do have to have some particular distance between them, and you have to match the antennas height to said distance. The dual antenna setup is also good for talking farther away in front or behind the truck, which is why big trucks have that - on the interstate pretty much everyone is either in front or behind you. Dual setup don't work nearly as well when the other person is off the side of you. It's a freakin rocket science pretty much, especially to someone like me who don't know much about radios, which is why I stick with one antenna and it's good for a few miles as is, when I put the 102" whip and actually set it up properly I should be able to pick a few more miles...

Welcome to the forums. Looks like a nice F150. I like the color combination, and the added lights. The running and turnsignal lights on the rear are cool. I had something similar on mine years ago. It was just the 3 in the middle. I think it would look much better with the decal removed from the bug gaurd. The new tires look like an improvement.
