What is she worth?

Im in college now, and my dad says he will not help me with fuel anymore. I have a job, but it isnt cutting it. I dont want to get rid of her, but it looks like I may have to. I will be back, because I love the ol' ford IDIs. That being said, what is she worth? I have a 1985 F250 Single Cab 2wd 6.9L C6 4.10 gears with 117,000 miles on it. New Fuel pump, new GPs, nice interior.

Not sure but I'm not to far away from you, in Houston. I bought my f250 6.9 4speed ext cab xlt for 1200. I'd say 2,000 is reasonable. Theres not a high demand for the older F250's... everyone wants turbo diesel even though they don't need it.

Any thought on a gear change, 3:08? Could also go with over size rear tires to help with fuel mileage. That is if your just using it for highway driving and not heavy towing.

My 85 F250 ext cab was getting 20mpg-21 driving 70% highway @55mph (3.55/4speed) but now it has a leaking injector O ring so its getting closer to 17-18mpg. (I haven't been driving it much, going to replace it this weekend hopefully)

If I could get an overdrive 5speed transmission I could probably get closer to 22-23mpg highway. The problem is that a F250 is not light and its a brick wall draging all kinds of wind resistance.
