2007 expedition broke transfer case- common?
We have a 2007 ford expedition that just broke the transfer case. we have 24,000 miles on it. The tow truck driver said that he tows a lot of newer fords with broken transfer cases. I'm wondering how common this is? anybody have any info? We use these for work trucks (97,98,06,07,07,07) and we havent had too many problems with the older ones (over 200,000 miles on em) but our three newest trucks have all had issues- does anybody know if these will hold up offroad and onroad for 200,000 miles like the older 2?
We regularly drive about 50-75,000 miles a year per truck and we dont want to have our trucks constantly breaking down. we use these in the nevada desert almost every day of the week offroad. any input you have i'd appreciate!

I dont think its common, I've only read of one other T-case failure in the new expys. They seem to have more nucience issues than major failures. Try reading through the forum below this one for the new expeditions, alot of good info in there.
