Autozone Rotors?

Hello all,

I have an 05 F150 2wd 4.6 v8 that is in need of both front rotors. Because these are the combines rotor/hub assembly, they are quite expensive from the dealership (280 ea.). Local repaid shops have quoted me 197 and 223 each.

I was able to find some online for 245 for the pair (rotorpros) and Autozone has rotors for 70 each.

I have seen many posts on here regarding rotors. Most are going towards the more expensive "customized" look of rotors for their trucks. I on the other hand just want something that will work. I dont have any special package and just do average day to day driving.

With that being said, can anyone comment on the Autozone Duralas Ultra rotors?

If not autozone, do you have any suggestions on places to get rotors for an average driver?

Thanks!

I have bought rotors for my 2002 f 150 and they were fine, but i did make a mistake a bought ceremic pads. on stock replacement rotors ceremic pads heat them to hot much hotter than stock pads and the rotors will warp. the ceremic pads do stop better and have almost no dust but make more heat. my rotors didnt make it 3 months and were warped and i drive like an old man. took the rotors back and got two new ones and bought the cheapest set of replacement pads and it ran fine. two years and no warping till a tree fell on it at night. The higher dollar rotors are made out of different mixtures of metals and can take the extra heat of ceremic pads. my opinon though

I used to manage an AZ store and never had problems or returns from the AZ rotors.
