the oil in the grease when it cools down!! Grease is nothing more than a carrier for
oil. I would take it apart and regrease you could replace the o rings but it isn't
needed if the grease is more than a few years old it is just dropping the oil. Don't
take this as a ohh don't worry response you definately need to regrease since the
grease now is nothing but the carrier matrix, If it's a DD and you get on the highway
and or high speeds you are flirting with disaster as MH would say!!

I agree with Blue Beast. I had the passenger side inner bearing seize up on me on the freeway. Both caliper pins blew out and the rotor / hub assembly came off the spindle. I was lucky enough to limp into the Holiday Inn parking lot and have AAA tow me home. Pulling the hub apart, changing the bearings, and repacking them with some good synthetic grease will possibly save you some greif. It's routine maintenace and easy to do...
