So i unplugged the tuner and the sevic light went off. Today I put it back on and got the 1000 code and two more:
0308-Injector dirve circuit/ #8 misfire detected
0603- KAM Memory loss/ Powertrain Control Module (PCM) KAM test error
What do these two things mean in basic terms and why would my programmer set these codes???Why didnt this happen before it went to the dealer and got a new CPS?

KAM error is common with tuner or chip, no biggy. I hope you didn't let them reflash your PCM while there. If they did, your tuner software may not agree with Ford's latest and may need updating. Check with your tuner vendor and the dealer.
Mike's right about the KAM error. No worries there and that won't cause the SES light to come on. Not sure what would cause the 0308 though. Based on the description, it makes me think there's a problem with the UVC gasket or conector on it causing a misfire.
I was sure that they weren't to do ANYTHING besides replace the CPS. I called them today to double check and make sure. I suppose all is well that ends well, today on my way home from work I started the truck and no longer have the SES light on. tomorrow I'm going to push my luck and up the tuner to the 120hp setting and see what happens.
thanks for the replies
If the UVC connection is loose, it could be fluke timing that it triggered the light when the CPS was replaced. They definately are not related, nor are they anywhere near each othere. I'd clear the codes and see what happens.
So i Took my programmer off to see if it made a difference and it did. I didnt get a code without the programmer on there. So just to see what would happen I put the programmer back on to see if it would throw another code. This time instead of the 50hp setting i put it on the 120hp setting. Drove it for 5 days just fine no codes. Yesterday i got the SES light again. Check the code and it was only the #8 injector code nothing els. So i put the truck back to stock and sure enough it cleard the code. Today driving down the road (stock) get the SES light. Pull over and Im back where i started codes 1000, 308, and 603.
I can honestly say the truck drives/runs no different at any point of this SES light Bull.... stuff.
Is it possible that the dealership screwed somthing up when they replaced me CPS??? They say they didnt unplug the battery and or flash my puter.
If anyone can shed some more light on this problem that would be great.
Especialy if someone around here might happen to be a powerstroke tech
