I just picked up some Doug Thorley Tri-Y headers, and want to get them installed ASAP. I wanted to hear from you guys what you found is typically the amount of hours or labor it takes to get a set of these on. I got a 1995 F350, with 4x4, so if that helps paint a picture of the job ahead. I was thinking something like 4-6 hours, but who knows, a lot of guys say these trucks have absolutely no room to maneuver, and from the looks of it, I think there right. Some guys even said they had to loosen a few motor mounts to get the right angle.

Well i would have to get back with you on that one...I traded labor...I cut firewood for the weekend while my dad installed my headers...The only thing that he told me was that he had to get the engine warm to loosen up the exhaust manifold studs..And that my duel exhaust wouldn't bolt up to the headers...So i drove around 2 days with open headers untill i went to the exhaust shop and they fabricated the exhaust to fit the headers...Let me tell you i couldn't hear good for a week after and all the police knew me by name...At least it didn't cost me anything at the exhaust shop because i told them i was putting headers on and they said they wold just bolt up..But i guess they thought i was installing shorty headers...Best of luck...I'll ask my dad tonight..
Ok i just got done talking with my dad and he said that that it took him around 3 and a half hours....Without bolting on the exhaust which i had to get done since it didn't fit...He said that you better go for a long drive first so all the studs heat up on the manifold and are able to come out easy...He said he sprayed some penetrating oil on them the day before...But other than that he said that they go on like headers..He told me though that these are one of the best set of headers that he has put on besides custom hooker headers..The only problem i had so far with them is that they loosened up and leaked so i re tightened them...but i guess it's common...Just let me know how it goes...I got one question for you though....Where did you get those front headlight and how much did you have to give for them...
Thank you. Right off eBay my man. I have a 1995, so I typed in 92-96 Bronco headlight (more searches come up when you type in bronco), and a variety of headlights come up for that search with a variety of differnt kinds u can get. No more than $100 I say
