although if money is no object you could have a centurion built(the custom obs excursions) front of the 350 with the back of a bronco body mated to it.
I saw a PSD logo on the side of a full size Bronco here in Abq once a couple years ago. Got up next to it at a lite and it was definitely a 7.3. I never got to talk to the driver though. I don't know where he got it but it is possible.
Seems like it would be simple to swap over the front suspension along with the engine.
I saw one on eBay about a year ago. A black one. Looked pretty professionally done, too. The guy sure wanted a pretty penny for it though. He said that it had the f-250 frame and running gear, but the pictures showed coil springs (4x4 springs) and 5-lug axles.
I think the best thing to do would be to put in the solid front axle, I saw it like that on ebay, or just get a 250/350 totaled with a good frame, chop the frame down, and put the bronco body on it. that way you don't have to worry about the weight of the engine.
