JLT Intake
ALoHa everyone,
Been awhile since I been back here
Anyway, has anyone installed the JLT intake and if so... what is your take on it's performance? Been seeing a lot of hooplah on Goog about this system, some good, some bad but more good.
I'ma thinkin of updating my intake from the Granatelli to the JLT because those dang stangs are doing wonders with it so I'ma guessing it could be worth a lookysee unless some one has a good reason not too. Also, I know it's not a true CAI unless it's rammed from the hoodscoop and there can be the possibility of too much hot air getting sucked down the tube but some will say thas not at all a bad thing when it comes down to the MPG factor or cold weather.
Don't worry bout posting here if you have anything else i.e. K&N, Airaid, Volant, Airforce, AEM etc. My Granatelli pretty much blowz them away in performance... how do I know this? I've owned 3 others mentioned above before returning to the Granni. I know I may take some heat on this but hey, if I don't, who will!
Just want to see if I can squeeze a little more HP out of her using my Pred, tizzzall !!

i have a JLT on the mach, and I loved it. made 14hp and 19tq on the dyno with it. i've heard better things about the truck one, and I believe it. the mustang JLT is so large you can fit about half of the stock intake tube inside the JLT one (up to that second quirky bend). I will be getting the truck one sometime, but I want to get the SCT tuner as well, and 600 bucks to drop on a daily driver is a lil on the steep side if you ask me :P Since you already have the tuner, it'll actually be one of the cheapest CAIs for you, so i'd say go for it!
