What is the best way to lift my 2003 F150 supercrew 4 wheel drive pickup. I just want a small lift like a two inch. I only need a body lift and I am not planning on spending much money. What is the best route to do this that I could do myself in my shop?
Thanks for all the input
i want to run the same original size tire but I just want the truck to be lifted just a little. Can it be done with basic shop tools? or are there special tools required to do this.
takes about 2 hours, cheaper than a body lift, more benefits.
I agree if your not going up a tire size just crank up the torsion bars and either put a add-a-leaf or replace the factor 2" block with a 3" block in the rear! The add a leaf will add load capacity but it rides a little rougher and blocks will retain the ride quality! You should however get it re-alined after cranking the torsion bars! If you go with a body lift you might as well go with the 3" performance accessorys if your going through the touble to take it all apart you might as well go the extra inch! They are not that hard to install but if you do it yourself you will need a good jack to do the lifting for you and plan on a half day to get it done!
