300 preformance mods?
Hello, i have a '96 F-150 4X4 with a 300 and a five speed and i just have a few questions. My muffler got a huge hole knocked in it goin thru a creek bed. I liked the way it sounded straigh but i put a cheap glasspack on it to see if it would clean up the sound alitle bit. Now it sound more like a boat/rice burnner, i loved the loud sound it had just want it a little cleaner. I've had it for about three years now and about 30,000 ago it got a short block and head it runs great but i keep breaking motor mount and tranny mounts. I've replaced them all four times already and was wounderind if there were some mods to the old one's i could make or more high quality poly mounts ya'll might know about. Other than that any preformance mods or fuel savers would be grately appreciated. One more thing i dont know if anyone knows about suspencion or alighnment but ive got a camber problem i dont know how to fix. Thanks for the advice

There are many performance mod threads on the 300 six. Also a lot of performance info on it at fordsix.com.
As for mufflers I really like my $25 Raptor. Very throaty, but not super loud.
