instrument and dash lights not working
the instrument and dash lights aren't working in my 94 E150. The 5 amp fuse keeps popping every time I put a new one in. I've replaced the headlight/dimmer switch and no luck. It's the # 13 fuse in the panel. It only supplies lighting to the cluster and Heater/Ac controls. Is it a grounding issue or is one of the lights bad? I haven't had a chance to put a volt tester on anything yet. Figure somebody must've had this problem before. It's a Ford after all!!

hahaahaha, I installed an aftermarket radio last year! thanks, I'll check it out. would it cause the lights to go out even if the illumination on the radio doesn't?

Great advice!!! I took the radio out and put a new fuse in and everything works fine again. Now I've just got to go through the radio wiring. Two big thumbs up!! I knew I could count on the guys at the Ford Forums.
