Might be getting another old ford
Found a '79 ford that looks pretty straight in the pictures. 4x4 of course! 351 m etc.... Needs paint which I'm glad b/c I have been wanting a project to paint.
Plans for it are a 4 to 6 inch lift and 33's or 35's. Olive drab paint scheme make it look old school. Maybe put the big white stars on there and go all out army.
What do you guys think? I've been needing a 4 wheel b/c my DD is terrible in snow.I have a thing for 70's fords. I've regretted selling everyone I have. I'm going to look at it sunday and I guess we will see.
Anything to look for? My last one was a '67 so my memory fails me again. Its been a few years since I have owned one. I'm getting a good deal on it so as long as its not rat infested and like the guy says should be a sweet ******.

Sounds great; look for rust in rear wheel well lips; cab mount points and under battery tray; also check between front fender wells next to firewall. Keep us posted.
I've also had problem with rusted out floor boards due to windshield rubber allowing rain to drip down onto floor boards; crawl underneath and examine this area as well. It also depends on the area of the world your located on price value verses rust level. IMHO
