engine dies while driving
I have a 2003 Crew Cab 4X4 with a 7.3. When cruising down the road the engine will die. Sometimes it will come right back, but sometimes I have to pull over and turn off the ignition and restart it. Any ideas?

Without more information, history or symptoms I'd guess a faulty CPS. If you still have the factory CPS it is currently under recall. If not they're less than $30 at Ford (don't buy from the auto parts store).

Thanks for the response. The truck has 73,000 miles and the CPS has never been changed. I thought, from what I had read and heard in the past, that this might be the problem. I have a spare CPS, but I did not want to change it without being pretty sure this was the problem.

found out there where some bare wire's to the cam sensor fixed the wire's and it hasent done it for three year's
