We made if back to SC from CO in the new (to us) F350 TD duelly and now need to install a gooseneck hitch. The truck has RiteRide air shock system on it. Does anyone know if those will cause any problem with installing the under-bed gooseneck hitch?
Should make it better.
The only way I could see them being a problem was if the installer routed the lines so they were in the way of the mount.
But that should not be to hard to relocate.
I have the air bags on the front axle on mine, and I love them.
Yes, air bags. I was concerned because one mfg mentioned fitting my truck but "not with overload springs" and I thought that might mean RiteRide bags.
Any recommendation on which hitch is best? I want a hideable one.
buddy of mine had one on his 98 f-250 that had a flip over ball that you pulled a lever in the wheelwell and pulled the ball out and turned over and had a smooth end that fit flush with the bed. it was a common brand of hitch, but i'm having a senior moment and can't remember the name. if i remember it later, i'll repost with it.
