Extended brake lines

Extended brake lines
I just extended my brake lines on my 97 F 350. On the drivers side, I had to remove the stock bracket that held the brake line T fitting to the frame in order to get the aftermarket stuff to fit. Any body know if that bracket is suppose to stay on or do you have to take it off like I did? instructions said nothin bout it. wish i had pics for you guys, hope you understand what I mean.

its a skyjacker extended brake lines. I havent asked the manufacturer yet, I just got done with it a few minutes ago, I'm going to be givin them a call shortly, just thought I'd see if anyone here would know
