brake help...
greetings all:
I just finished changing the brakes on my '02 EB Expy & I'm hearing a pop sometimes when braking, & sometimes while backing up, when I took it for a check ride.
Here is what I have done so far...
jacked it up
used jack stands to support vehicle
removed wheels
removed calipers
removed pads
used brake tool to push pistons back
replaced with ceramic pads
didn't resurface rotors this time (that was done by a local shop last time)
reinstalled calipers
reinstalled wheels
pumped brake pedal before starting vehicle
checked to make sure fluid level was OK
took it for a check ride braking at various speeds down the road & I heard a muffled pop the first couple of times braking (some brakes were harder than others). Put it in revers & it made the noise again. It brakes wonderfully, but the noise has me puzzled a bit. Any help is greatly appreciated.
