Window handle

This is a stupid question, but how do you remove the window crank handle on these old trucks? I thought that there would be a small clip like on most cars but I can't see one.

I need to pull out the regulator to change the window.

Thanks,

The escutcheon (stainless or painted piece under crank) has a spring loaded piece, push it towards door. When you do that you will see a couple of small holes in the base of the window crank. There will be a pin that is in one of the holes, that pushes through. Use a piece of stiff wire or a skinny screwdriver to drive it through. Installation is just the exact opposite.

And just in case you need, the door handles are held on the exact same way.

Thanks for the reply. After I posted the message, I started digging around some of my parts catalogs and found a picture of it. I will take a look in the morning and see if I can get it off.
